Office of the Registrar
The primary goal of the Office of the Registrar is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of each student's academic record.
Our office:
- Maintains official student academic records including transcripts and grades
- Manages the schedule of classes and registration
- Evaluates transfer credits for new and continuing undergraduate students
- Evaluates completion of degree requirements for graduation
- Interprets and applies university, state and federal academic policies and procedures such as FERPA

Mission
Columbus State University's mission is to "… empower people to contribute to the advancement of our local and global communities through an emphasis on excellence in teaching and research, life-long learning, cultural enrichment, public-private partnerships, and service to others."
CSU's Office of the Registrar contributes to this mission by providing and continually improving academic support services for the University; including but not limited to the creation, maintenance, preservation and transmission of student academic records, support for the University's curriculum, reinforcing its academic policies, and to serve the needs of the students, both current and former, by providing quality service, timely response to requests for information and convenient access to services. To this end, the Office of the Registrar will be a leader of emerging technologies that assist in the delivery of services and information in the most effective and efficient manner. The Office of the Registrar subscribes to the highest ethical principles of our profession and strives to serve the university with honesty, integrity and accuracy.
Vision
The Office of the Registrar shall provide consistent, accurate, high quality student-centered services. With as strong focus on technology, a caring and motivated staff, we'll provide these services while facilitating the needs of the University.
