Columbus State University is now able to offer in-state tuition to all residents of Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee who come to Columbus State University as an undergraduate student. See our border state FAQ for more information.

Exceptions

Please Note: Beginning Fall 2020, per policy of the University System of Georgia, out-of-state students who are taking a combination of undergraduate face-to-face classes and regular undergraduate online classes are required to pay out-of-state tuition for all of their courses. If you have a waiver which pays for out-of-state tuition, it will pay the out-of-state tuition for all your courses.

Tuition for the following programs is not subject to the 15-hour cap:

  • Tuition for the Georgia Film Academy (GFA) courses is charged at $125 per credit hour.
  • Tuition for eCore classes is charged at $159 per credit hour plus the technology fee.
  • Tuition for FinTech Academy Courses (eMajor) is charged at $199 per credit hour plus the technology fee.
  • Tuition for online RN to BSN is charged at $199 per credit hour plus the technology and student activity fee.
  • Tuition for the WebBSIT program is charged at $350 per credit hour.

Tuition for the following programs is subject to the 12-hour cap:

  • Tuition for the MPA program is charged at $244 per credit hour in-state and $956 per credit hour out-of-state plus all mandatory fees.
  • Tuition for the MBA program is charged at $259 per credit hour in-state and $1,016 per credit hour out-of-state plus all mandatory fees.
  • Tuition for the MS in Organizational Leadership is charged at $259 per credit hour in-state and $1,016 per credit hour out-of-state plus all mandatory fees.
  • Tuition for the Ed.D. in Curriculum and Leadership is charged at $393 per credit hour in-state and $1,125 per credit hour out-of-state plus all mandatory fees.

Tuition for the following programs is not subject to the 12-hour cap:

  • Tuition for FinTech Academy Courses (eMajor) is charged at $199 per credit hour plus the technology and student activity fee.
  • Tuition for the online M.S. in Applied Computer Science is charged at $329 per credit hour plus the technology and student activity fee.
  • Tuition for the online M.Ed and Ed.S in Educational Leadership program is charged at $385 per credit hour plus the technology and student activity fee.
  • Tuition for the online MSN (Master of Science in Nursing) is charged at $385 per credit hour plus the technology fee.
  • Tuition for the GOML (online MEd in Accomplished Teaching) is charged at $385 per credit hour plus the technology fee.
  • Tuition for online Ed.D. courses is charged at $450 per credit hour plus the technology and student activity fee.
  • Tuition for the Online Graduate MBA program is charged at $739 per credit hour.

The mandatory fees are waived for active-duty military students utilizing tuition assistance.

  • Tuition for the Online Graduate MBA program is charged at a maximum of $250 per credit hour.
