Class Descriptions

Note: Not all classes are offered every semester.
Note: All classes subject to change.

AQUA Zumba®
This high-energy aquatic workout fuses South American Zumba rhythm and dance steps with a pool party. Aqua Zumba gives participants all the benefits of a challenging, fun, body-toning workout – in the water!
Bikes n Bandz
A combination of cycling and resistance training for a well-balanced full body workout. The music and energy in this class keeps you motivated and coming back for more!
Boot Camp
A popular interval class that mixes calisthenics and bodyweight exercises with cardio and strength training. These boot camps are designed in a way to be different all the time, and push our participants harder than they‘d push themselves. We want to keep you guessing - and challenge you differently every class! Although our instructors may push you like a drill sergeant, our goal is to offer encouragement rather than intimidation. We want you to have tons of fun – but please be prepared for some high-intensity training!
Cougar CORE
A 15-minute workout focused on all things core that‘s just short enough for you to grab a great workout and still make it to class on time!
HIIT
An interval class that mixes both aerobics and strength training in one designed workout. Many times you may not have 2 hours to spend in the gym so this allows you to work both your heart and your muscles extensively in one class! By doing short circuits of cardio, followed by strategic intervals of strength training, you will definitely leave this class feeling like you used your time efficiently.
MIXXEDFIT®
A people-inspired dance fitness program that is a mix of explosive dancing and boot camp toning. Everything about our dance fitness program can be described as explosive – all of our movements are always big, exaggerated, full-out, and our very best.
Turn Up Dance Fitness
A high intensity interval training dance workout that feels like you’re going to club with your friends! Although it works your whole body, let the beat move you and dance your heart out!
Yoga for Beginners
Based on sports science, alignment principles and the ancient traditions of Yoga. This class is accommodating for beginners but great for all fitness levels, age groups, and health conditions while maintaining the essence of traditional Yoga practice including breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, which is widely practiced for health and relaxation.
Zumba®
An interval-style dance fitness party that combines low-intensity and high-intensity moves. You‘ll burn lots of calories as you move to the rhythm with Latin-inspired dance moves. The best part of it all is that it doesn‘t even feel like exercise!
