School of Nursing

International

The purpose of the international nursing webpage is to provide international students with valuable resources to increase student success. The resources, along with the School of Nursing faculty, will be used to help the international student transition into the School of Nursing. The university web links included will assist the student with writing assignments, communication needs, and campus resources. There is also a "Student Perspective" to feature international students who are successful graduates. These graduates will serve as a resource for international students in navigating the School of Nursing. Their assistance will be available via facebook.

NCLEX Testing

To ensure public protection, NCSBN Member Board jurisdictions require a candidate for licensure to pass an examination that measures the competencies needed to perform safely and effectively as a newly licensed, entry-level nurse.

Writing Center

The Writing Center's primary mission is to help students become independent writers, helping students build their confidence and skills as writers in their core English courses, in courses across the curriculum, and in other professional and academic situations.

International Student Services

The CSU International Student Services center provides cultural and personal advising, general academic advising as it relates to the understanding of the US system of higher education, and advising on immigration matters.

English Language Institute

The English Language Institute (ELI) was established in 2002 to meet the needs of students whose native language is not English. We offer beginning, intermediate, and advanced level courses, and we are a non-degree academic English as a Second Language Program.
