Summer Math Camp: Operation Super Solvers. June 7 - 11 for rising fifth, sixth, and seventh graders.

Columbus State University faculty volunteers are creating this half-day, week-long summer camp designed for children completing the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades who may have missed out on many hands-on, engaging classroom activities because of the pandemic. Our goal is to get children ready to excel in middle school math! The camp has limited seats due to strict safety guidelines.

The camp has an enrollment limited to 15 students due to strict COVID-19 safety guidelines, but your child’s teacher believes your child would benefit from:

  • Fun, hands-on activities, children’s literature, and escape-room style games that fill knowledge gaps and make new math connections
  • Research-based teaching methods that improve self-confidence in doing math
  • Engaging problems that ignite students’ interest in solving math puzzles

The camp cost will be only $75, which covers snacks and programming from 9:00 a.m. - noon, June 7-11th, 2021.

Campers will be welcomed after 8:30 a.m. each day at Frank Brown Hall on the River Park Campus of Columbus State University at 1127 Broadway. Pick-up time is at noon each day.

Is there a Super Solver in your home? We hope so!
