Cougar Success Academy
Create your academic foundation and have a little fun this summer at our Cougar Success Academy! Our four-week program will help set you up for a successful first year of college. There are limited seats available, so register today!
Through this program you will:
- Take two core courses
- Have fun with new friends at Whitewater Rafting, Bowling, Escape Rooms, and more!
- Develop good academic habits through structured tutoring, workshops, and seminars
- Enjoy delicious meals every day in our dining hall, the Cougar Cafe (1x meal for commuters/3x meals for residents)
- Prepare for your first year of college with dedicated faculty and staff
- Most importantly, find where you belong at CSU!
Live on Campus
Enhance your Cougar Success Academy experience and opt to live in Clearview on Main Campus. You'll live with other Cougar Success Academy students in rooms featuring two bedrooms, two bath floor plans and a shared living space with a full kitchen.
Summer residents must plan to live on campus for Fall 2025 semester.

- January 13, 2025 - Program Registration Opens
- June 3, 2025 - Complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA
- May 16, 2025 - Registration Deadline
- June 20, 2025 - Move-in for On-Campus Residents

- July 4, 2025 - Holiday
- July 22, 2025 - Final Exams and Last Day of Classes

Commuter Option: Includes one meal in the dining hall every day and all regular Cougar Success Academy group activities.

Eligibility
- Be a high school graduate
- Be admitted to CSU
- Plan to enroll during the 2025 Fall semester
- Submit the registration form and pay the program fee before the deadline
- Complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA for the Summer Program (if applicable)
Frequently Asked Questions
- What should I bring?
We will send a suggested packing list. You can treat Cougar Success Academy as a camp, and bring a few things, or you can fully move in with the understanding that you will relocate for fall semester. You should bring your laptop, and anything you might need to be successful in the classes you will be taking. Visit our Residence Life community guidelines for more information. - Do I have to participate in the social activities?
There will be some optional activities, however we would love to see all of our students participate fully to gain all the benefits of the program. More details will be sent to you as the programming schedule is finalized.
