GACE Paraprofessional Assessment

The GACE Paraprofessional Assessment is for prospective and practicing paraprofessionals and measures skills and knowledge in reading, math, and writing, as well as the ability to apply those skills and knowledge to assist in classroom instruction. Visit the GACE website for detailed information about the test, including study materials and current guidelines and restrictions.

GACE retesting policy: You cannot retest within 28 days. If you attempt to retest within the 28 day waiting period, you will forfeit your test fee.

You can view your unofficial scores at the end of the test. Official score reports are mailed to you approximately one week after the test date. Scores are also reported to the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC).  Your official score report provides your passing status.
