Diversity Programs

Skin I'm In

This event is about showcasing the background, culture, heritage, or identities that make individuals who they are. The event consists of various individuals performing through poetry, song, dance, or monologue and takes place annually in January.

College Student for a Day

College Student for a Day is hosted annually by the Collegiate 100. This event is designed to educate and inform local high school juniors and seniors about the Columbus State campus and give out words of advice to prepare and motivate them for college.

Week of Silence

The Week of Silence events are hosted annually in April and designed to increase awareness and understanding of issues facing Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) students at CSU. Students participate in exciting, engaging, and educational events throughout the week to expand their awareness and create a more inclusive campus. Diversity does this through interactive informational sessions and an annual drag show.
