Research Interests

My research focuses primarily on avian reproduction and carotenoid (i.e., biologically active yellow, orange, and red pigments) allocation to eggs and sexual signals.  I have also been involved in research projects focusing on lake and wetland habitats, aspects of population dynamics, food-web interactions, and the effects of human disturbance and habitat alteration on birds.
