Biography

I first came to Columbus State University as a student in the ICAPP program - which allowed me to become a mainframe programmer at TSYS. While employed at TSYS I continued my education journey to earn my B.S. in Applied Computer Science, and then continued to a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science as well from Columbus State University. During my time as a student in the Bachelor's and Master's program I also worked part time in the computer science tutoring lab, where I felt the calling to help students learn. In 2017 I began as a part time adjunct in the TSYS School of Computer Science, while still employed at TSYS. In 2020 I took early retirement from TSYS and started working full time at Columbus State University, and am very fulfilled teaching students.
