Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation

LSAMP - Southwest Georgia Alliance

The overall mission of the Southwest Georgia LSAMP Alliance is to increase the number of qualified underrepresented minorities receiving baccalaureate degrees in STEM and entering graduate school, and ultimately the STEM workforce. Our vision is to create a diverse STEM workforce that encompasses a culture of inclusion for all in STEM.

Supported by the National Science Foundation and the university, LSAMP supports historically underrepresented students in the STEM fields. CSU is part of a consortium of six schools in Georgia, which form the alliance, Southwest Georgia Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (SWGa LSAMP).
