15 to Finish

Save Money. Build Momentum. Graduate on Time. Start Your Career.

The vast majority of college students aren't taking the credits needed to graduate on time. CSU joins the more than 200 institutions across 25 states that are working to help students succeed with 15 to Finish.

15 to Finish targets students who are enrolled for 12 – 14 semester hours, and encourages them to sign up for 15 or more semester hours so that they can graduate sooner. Research shows that students who take 15 credit hours per semester have seen significant benefits, including better academic performance, higher retention rates and the increased likelihood of completion.

"Bottom line: Students who take 15 units per semester are more likely to graduate, pay less in tuition and living expenses, gain additional years of earnings, and free up limited classroom space for other students."
