Amy Mutarelli
Director of Dance/Associate Professor of Dance a
Amy Mutarelli earned her Master of Fine Arts in Dance from Florida State University. While at FSU, Amy studied with Anjali Austin, Lynda Davis, Suzanne Farrell, Tim Glenn, Gerri Houlihan, Sheila Humphreys, Rick McCullough, Anthony Morgan, Dan Wagoner, and Jawole Willa Jo Zollar. Additionally, she created work that was selected for the concert series, Days of Dance, for two successive years and performed as a member of the Dance Repertory Theatre. Amy has enriched her training through summer intensive programs at the Orlando Ballet (Fernando Bujones & Peter Stark), The Washington School of Ballet, the Florida Dance Festival, American Dance Festival (ADF) Dance Professionals Program, The Alvin Ailey School Horton Dance Professionals Program, and the Nederlands Dans Theatre summer dance intensive (The Hague, Nederlands). Her choreographic work has been accepted into Dumbo Dance Festival (NYC) and has been presented at New Grounds Emerging Artists Festival (Tampa), and internationally at the Contemporary Choreographers Collective (COCO) Dance Festival (Trinidad & Tobago) and Digital Graffitti (Alys Beach).
Before relocating to Columbus, Amy taught dance at Darton State College (Albany, GA) and was the Director of Dance at Louisburg College (Louisburg, NC). She has been in the role of Director of Dance/faculty at Columbus State University since Fall 2018.
Throughout the academic year, adjunct faculty and guest artists lead courses and master classes. Recent educators include: Tara Shepard Myers, Brooks Landegger, Paunika Jones, Andre Lumpkin, Kieron Dwayne Sargeant, and others.

Ann Reinking
Honorary Advisor/Director Emeritus (2016-2021)
Ann Reinking was a Broadway legend. As an actress, dancer and choreographer her extensive work in musical theatre includes starring in productions such as Cabaret, A Chorus Line, Chicago, Coco, Over Here, Goodtime Charley, Dancin, and Fosse to name just a few. She was the recipient of a Tony Award, a Drama Desk Award, the Astaire Award, the Laurence Olivier Award, the Outer Circle Critics Award and many others. Her awards and nominations for Best Actress in a Musical, Best Choreographer, Best Director, and Best Female Dancer were numerous during her performance years. Ann also appeared in the popular Hollywood films Annie, All That Jazz, and Micki & Maude.
