Full-time students can complete the program in as little as 2 years.
Completely online, the MSN FNP at CSU’s School of Nursing has a curriculum that is creative to the core. Clinical hours can be completed in your own area (765 clinical hours are required). You’ll develop and nurture collaborative and interdependent relationships with other health care professionals to foster optimal client health outcomes. Holistic care plans will consider a wide range of healthcare services that revolve around the family unit. By utilizing nursing research, you’ll explore evidence-based practices and demonstrate cultural competence that reflects sensitivity to human diversity.
The master's degree program in nursing at Georgia Intercollegiate Consortium for Graduate Nursing Education (Consortium of Columbus State University and Georgia Southwestern University) is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
The CSU School of Nursing began enrolling new students in the CSU-only MSN/FNP program in Spring 2020 and is now accredited as a single institution by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
