About ACEing Autism

ACEing Autism is a nationally recognized adapted tennis program serving children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) across all levels of support. With more than 200 programs nationwide and over 7,000 children participating annually, it is one of the largest adapted sport initiatives in the United States. Since establishing the CSU site in 2023, our program has grown into a collaborative, interdisciplinary model that unites faculty, students, and community partners in service of children and families in the Columbus region.

Why Choose ACEing Autism for your child?

The program is intentionally designed around one-to-one support, specialized volunteer training, and a curriculum tailored specifically for children on the autism spectrum. Through structured, developmentally appropriate tennis instruction, children build motor skills, communication abilities, confidence, and social connection in an environment created for their success. At the same time, CSU students from Health and Physical Education, Special Education, and Psychology receive hands-on training in adapted physical activity and behavioral support strategies, preparing them to become skilled and compassionate professionals.

The program is offered during the Fall and Spring semesters. For more information, please visit ACEing Autism Community Program
