Chattahoochee River Conservancy - General Description of Provider and Internship: Chattahoochee River Conservancy is a non-profit organization that is headquartered in Columbus, Ga. The organization works on issues affecting the health and stewardship of the basin from West Point Lake to the Florida line in Georgia and Alabama. Chattahoochee River Conservancy provides data on stream quality to Georgia-Adopt-A-Stream and Alabama Water Watch works on advocacy or political issues that affect the basin.

SERC Internship Program in Environmental Studies, sponsored by The Smithsonian Institute - SYNOPSIS: The Smithsonian Environmental Research Center's (SERC) Internship Program offers undergraduate and beginning graduate students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fields of environmental research and education. This program enables students to work on specific projects under the direction of SERC's professional staff and is tailored to provide the maximum educational benefit to each participant.
