Final Examination Schedules

Final exam schedules are created in a way that minimizes the number of students with more than one exam a day.

2023 Spring Final Exam Schedule

Full-Term Classes

The final exams scheduled for May 4–6 and May 8–10 are for regular Spring session, full-term (part-term code "1" – January 18–May 9).

Examinations are scheduled to be administered in the regular meeting room of the class, and at the time and on the day assigned in the schedule below. For courses with both lecture and laboratory meeting times, use the lecture meeting days to determine when the exam will be administered

Full-term Classes Without Times Listed on This Table

Examinations for meeting days and times that are not listed in this table are to be arranged by the instructor with the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs. (The instructor should send an e-mail with the subject line "Final Exam Query" to academic_affairs@columbusstate.edu asking for further instructions.)

Full-term Online Classes and Classes Without Meeting Times

Examinations for online classes and classes without set meeting days and times are to be scheduled during the following period:

  • Friday May 5, 2023
    • 7 p.m.–9:30 p.m.
  • Saturday May 6, 2023
    • 10:45 a.m.–1:15 p.m.
    • 4:15 p.m.– 6:45 p.m.
  • Monday May 8, 2023
    • 8 a.m.–10:30 a.m.
    • 10:45 a.m.–1:15 pm
    • 1:30 p.m.–4:00 p.m.
    • 4:15 p.m.–6:45 p.m.
    • 7 p.m.–9:30 p.m.

The room reservation for the exam should be arranged by the instructor through the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs by submitting the Room Request Form.

Final Exam Schedule

These guidelines are designed to allow final exams to proceed in an unpredictable environment with potential coronavirus disruptions, closed testing centers, the potential for shelter-in-place conditions, students who may not have access to computers at a given time, and students who may have children at home unexpectedly.
