The Carson McCullers Center’s Weekly We of Me is a podcast dedicated to the life and work of world-famous writer Carson McCullers. Hosted by McCullers Center director Nick Norwood, episodes feature conversations with noted scholars known to be authorities on Carson McCullers, as well as writers and artists influenced by her. Guests, who also read excerpts from their favorite McCullers passages, include noted McCullers scholar Dr. Carlos Dews, biographer Mary Dearborn, writer Jenn Shapland, actresses Rachel Weisz and Karen Allen, writer and gay rights activist Sarah Schulman, writer for television shows such as Dear White People, Julia, and Reasonable Doubt Natalia Temesgen, artist Bo Bartlett, and others.
