Scope and Content

This small collection of 9 postcards features four scenes from Columbus and five of Fort Benning. T hese include Columbus High School; Greetings from Columbus, Georgia; Chattahoochee River by moonlight; Goat Rock Dam and Power House; Entrance to the Infantry School; Russ Pool; Officers' Quarters on Lumpkin Road; U.S.O. Club and the Service Club # 1 on Fort Benning.

These postcards arrived in the mail from L.M. Reisinger of Colorado Springs, Colorado addressed to David Owings, the archivist in July 2014.
