Our nationally recognized cybersecurity programs are designed to help you create the educational foundation you need to pursue your career in cybersecurity.
Comprehensive Cybersecurity Education
In the span of two years, the Nexus degree program integrates 18 credits hours
of specialized cybersecurity certification alongside 42 credit hours of foundational
education, culminating in a total of 60 credit hours. Classes are structured to blend
theoretical depth with practical application, delivered through immersive sessions
and robust curriculum ensures a focused approach, allowing you to master each subject
area before advancing to the next.
Industry Certifications
Through the program’s coursework, you’ll have the opportunity to earn five industry-recognized
certifications that will help you stand out to future employers:
- CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+)
- CompTIA Network Fundamentals (Network+)
- CompTIA Security Fundamentals (Security+)
- INE Junior Penetration Tester (eJPT)
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
Real-World Experience and Professional Networking
Students participate in mock interviews, receive internship placements, and defend
against cyberattacks on our state-of-the-art Cyber Range. With CSU's Center of Academic
Excellence designation and industry partnerships, students have opportunities to excel
in cybersecurity competitions and build their professional networks through regular
interactions with industry professionals.
Career Readiness and Support
Our program equips students with resume-building skills, interview preparation,
and online branding strategies. Industry professionals visit regularly, offering insights
and job opportunities post-graduation. Upon completion, students emerge as professionals,
bridging the gap between academics and the industry.
