Bachelor of Science in Education - Theatre Education
About the Program
The Bachelor of Science in Education (BSEd) in Theatre Education provides pre-service teachers a solid knowledge base emphasizing pedagogy, curriculum content, and assessment consistent with the national, state, and local standards and goals.
In the first two years, students complete studies that establish eligibility for admission to teacher education. This is followed by a sequence of campus and field-based courses culminating in the student teaching semester during the senior year.
There are two tracks for students to choose from: certification or non-certification.
