Columbus State University is proud to offer services and facilities to help accommodate
camps and conferences for affiliated and non-affiliated groups and organizations.
Whether you are planning to host a large conference or event, an overnight summer
camp, or a day program, CSU has you covered! Our team can assist you in several aspects
of your event so that you can focus on your program and your participants.
To begin this process, please complete our university request form. Once submitted,
your request will be reviewed for approval and space availability. A CSU staff member
will then reach out to you regarding your request. If you have any questions in the
meantime, please contact us at CampsAndConferences@ColumbusState.edu
To ensure consistency, oversight, and an effective use of university resources, this
process establishes an institution-wide process for submitting, reviewing, and approving
camps and conferences.
This process applies to all university-affiliated and non-affiliated groups requesting
to be hosted on CSUs campus. This includes university departments (e.g., Academic
Affairs, Athletics, Student Life & Development, and Continuing Education), as well
as third-party or community organizations.

To make your experience easier, Columbus State University created a guide that includes
key resources to help make your event successful and ensure a smooth planning process.
This resource guide is designed for groups interested in hosting camps and conferences
at CSU and provides instructions, policies, expectations, and best practices for navigating
areas such as space reservations, housing accommodations, dining services, and programs
involving minors on campus. Our goal is to support event organizers with consistency,
compliance, and a clear point of reference, while campus offices remain available
to offer additional guidance and support as needed.
