My time at Schwob School of Music at CSU laid the foundation for my artistry as a musician in the emerging Atlanta Music scene, as well as my professional career as an Audio Engineer at Georgia Public Broadcasting. The rigorous lessons in music theory, supportive mentorships, and collaborative opportunities sharpened my skills and gave me the confidence to pursue music and audio on a professional level. CSU didn't just teach me technique, it taught me to turn passion into purpose, and I carry that foundation with me every day.

Victoria Evans-Cash ’20

BA in Music, Double Minor in Jazz Studies and Audio Tech

The music department was key in my growth as a musician and also helped me discover new passions. Joining the Schwob Tech team gave me the foundation to start my career in audio/visual and ultimately launch my own company. The friendships and mentorship I gained at CSU continue to guide me in both my professional and personal life.

BA in Music Performance and Minor in Jazz

In short, my time learning from - and working with - the faculty at the CSU has been the single greatest catalyst of professional development I've had in the music industry. Since enrolling and graduating from the Schwob School of Music I have been prepared for a variety of professional environments. I am now the music production manager and an adjunct instructor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where I have won global music awards, collaborated on an American Prize-winning solo piano album, and continue to work with world-class musicians.
