The Interdisciplinary Studies Program stood out because it let me combine my leadership and communication skills with my public safety background. It recognized my years of work and the education that I had already put in, and it gave me the momentum to keep going.

I chose to go into the BSIS program because I wanted to get more education to help me out as a program director of a martial arts school. I focused a lot on psychology, sociology, and communication classes. The program pathways allowed me to tailor my education to what I needed.
