CSU’s Arts Education M.A.T. program is designed for aspiring educators who already hold a degree in art or a related field – no prior teaching experience required. You'll learn to create engaging, inclusive, and impactful arts-based learning experiences and graduate prepared to earn P-12 teaching certification in Georgia.

- Designed for individuals with an undergraduate degree in art or a related field who want to become certified art educators, no prior teaching experience required
- Leads to initial Georgia educator T-5 level certification in P-12 art education

- Prepares you to positively impact school communities through creative and meaningful teaching
- Includes coursework aligned with Georgia Professional Standards Commission requirements and requires passing scores on the Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators (GACE) for certification eligibility
