CSU’s Arts Education M.A.T. program is designed for aspiring educators who already hold a degree in art or a related field – no prior teaching experience required. You'll learn to create engaging, inclusive, and impactful arts-based learning experiences and graduate prepared to earn P-12 teaching certification in Georgia.
Customize Your Degree
Art Education (Track)
Learn to design engaging, inclusive visual arts programs by combining theory, practice, and hands-on experience. You'll culminate your studies with a thesis or exhibition that demonstrates your growth as both an artist and educator.
Theatre Education (Track)
Develop the skills to inspire learning through performance, creative expression, and innovative teaching strategies. You'll deepen your practice in teaching while tailoring your studies to areas such as acting, directing, or design.
