Phenix City Basketball Scorebook

Organizational Note

This basketball score book shows the teams that Phenix City Elementary and Junior High played from the period starting January 8, 1948 to January 9, 1952. Many of the games were played at the 9th Street YMCA. Last names and first initials of the boys on the rosters are listed. Schools mentioned include Mother Mary Mission, Spencer, South Girard, Buena Vista, Chambers County and Claflin.

The collection consists of one folder with the basketball score book from the years 1948-1952. This collection was previously numbered MC 093 at the Public Library.

Provenance

This collection was donated to the CSU Archives by the director of the Columbus Public Library in October 2013 when the public library closed its archival collection.
