Organizational Note

The Columbus Times is a newspaper which reports the news of the black community of Columbus, Georgia. Its mission is to promote the development of the community along all lines—civic, social, political, religious, economic, individual, commercial and educational.

Scope and Content

This is the Eighth anniversary issue of the paper. It reports on a black addition to the city hospital, black schools and educators, labor conditions and doctors. May 23, 1931 1 folder (.l l.f.)
