Organizational Note

Jordan Vocational High School started as the Industrial School for students in Columbus, Georgia. It was later re-named after G. Gunby Jordan, a local industrialist, philanthropist, and member of the school board.

Scope and Content

This small collection consists of two mimeographed copies of the school newspaper, The Red Jacket, dated 1933 and 1936. The 1933 edition lists all the names of the football team. It is housed in the SMC oversize box.
