Rankin Square Map of 1885 (SMC 157)

Historical Note

Rankin Square is an area of downtown Columbus, Georgia that is bordered by Broad St (Broadway), Oglethorpe (First Avenue), St. Clair (11th St) and Crawford St (10th St). The map seems to be a copy from the Sanborn Fire Insurance maps which show the businesses, addresses, location of pipes, cisterns and other infrastructure. The map is a reproduction.
