Biography

Dr. Qi Zou received his Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical Engineering and Automation) and Master’s degree (Mechanical Design and Theory) from Beijing Jiaotong University (China) in 2016 and 2019, respectively. He received his PhD degree (Mechanical Engineering) from York University (Canada) in 2023. Before joining Columbus State University, he was a postdoctoral fellow in Electrical and electronic engineering at Hanyang University (Republic of Korea). His research fields include parallel robotics, medical robotics, mechatronics, solid mechanics, linkage mechanisms and innovative mechanical design.
