Biography

Dr. Carolina Pelaez-Morales earned her MA in English from Eastern Illinois University and her Ph.D. in Second Language Studies from Purdue University. Since 2014, when she came to CSU, she has served as a coordinator of the TESOL certificate and ESOL endorsement, and she teaches courses in Applied Linguistics as well as composition. Her publications and research examine the relationship between theory and practice, academic support of English language learners, and teachers and their pedagogical practices.
