Biography

Edward O’Donnell is an assistant professor of marketing at the Turner College of Business & Technology.  Prior to returning to the University of Akron for his master’s degree in Accounting and a Ph.D. in Marketing from Kent State University, he had over twelve years of project management experience in the aircraft and hydraulic industries.  After graduating in 2005, he taught doctoral courses in survey research methods and advanced regression analysis and participated and directed doctoral student research at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). His current research interests involve international product strategy, sales management, and inter-organizational business relationships.  He is a past recipient of Syracuse University’s Experiential Classroom Outstanding Case Teaching Award and the UTEP Best Paper Award.  He has research published in the Journal of Management Studies, the Marketing.
