Biography
Samantha Miller Gurski is the Director of Continuing & Professional Education at Columbus
State University, where she leads a broad portfolio of community and workforce development
initiatives. Her department delivers diverse programming—including the English Language
Institute, professional certificate programs, youth programs, the CSU and Prometric
Testing Centers, and a range of adult professional development and personal enrichment
offerings.
Miller Gurski has forged strategic partnerships with organizations to create custom
training in fields like data literacy, project management, and AI readiness. She holds
an MS in Organizational Leadership from CSU, a BA in Philosophy from the University
of South Carolina, certifications from UPCEA, the International Association of Continuing
Education and Training (IACET), and the Learning Resource Network (LERN), as well
as a UGA Executive Project Management Certificate.
Her commitment to education and community impact extends beyond CSU through her role
as co-chair of the University System of Georgia Regents Advisory Committee on Public
Service and Continuing Education and her service on CSU’s Strategic Enrollment Planning
Task Force. She also serves on the boards of the Urban League of the River Valley
and the Columbus Literacy Alliance, and was recognized as a 2024 Young Gamechanger
by the Georgia Municipal Association.
