Biography
Dr. Justin M. Finney is an Assistant Professor of History Education at Columbus State University College of Education and Health Professions and a former teacher, school administrator, assistant superintendent, and superintendent with over 31 years of credited service in Georgia public education. His work focuses on preparing future educators to teach and lead with rigor and relevance in the social sciences and history education. In his courses, students engage in collaborative, practice-based learning experiences designed to foster inclusive classrooms and empower all learners to think critically about the past and present.
