Biography

Dr. Hill was born in Brazil and moved to the United States in 2007 on an athletic scholarship to play tennis. During her time in the United States, she earned her undergraduate and master‘s degree in health and physical Education at Columbus State University and earned her doctoral degree in Motor Development at Auburn University. As part of her research and outreach, she works with a non-profit organization called ACEing Autism. ACEing Autism is a tennis program for children in the spectrum. Dr. Hill‘s primary goals are to create an emotionally and physically safe environment to facilitate learning for all of her students.

My research focuses on the outcomes of an adapted tennis program in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. My goal is to continue development the program at Columbus State University. See CV for publications.
