Biography
As an Academic Success Coach at Columbus State University, I work closely with students—particularly
those majoring in Management, Marketing, and Management Information Systems—to help
them develop the skills and strategies needed to thrive academically and personally.
My approach focuses on the "big picture" of academic success, including time management,
organization, motivation, and study habits. Rather than tutoring specific subjects,
I support students in building confidence, self-efficacy, and sustainable learning
strategies.
I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management, graduating
magna cum laude, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental
Health Counseling. My academic and professional background allows me to support students
holistically, recognizing the importance of mental well-being in achieving academic
goals.
My work aligns closely with CSU’s strategic commitment to Student Success. I’m dedicated
to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where students feel a sense of
belonging, are empowered to reach their goals, and are prepared for life after graduation—whether
that means entering the workforce, continuing their education, or finding their unique
path forward.
