General Undergraduate Scholarship Application

  • Claude Allen Shumate Jr. & Claude Allen Shumate III Memorial Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student at CSU and must maintain a 3.0 GPA.
  • Cougar Village Apartments Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Preference given to CSU students residing at The Lowell Apartments (formerly Cougar Village Apartments) in Columbus, GA and who demonstrate financial need.
  • Mae Johnson Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Awarded to a student whose academic credentials and leadership skills are worthy of recognition. Preference will be given to children of domestic employees.
  • Ralph H. & Annie G. Owen Curry Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Awarded to students who are not Columbus State University employees or family members of CSU employees. Enrolled as a full-time student and have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA and have demonstrated financial need.
    • Awards: Educational expenses up to cost of tuition and fees for a maximum of two semesters.
  • The Annie and Emmitt Scott Leadership Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Recipients must be enrolled as a full-time student at CSU. Recipients must exhibit potential to become strong leaders in the community. Preference will be given to applicants from Manchester (Georgia) High School.
  • The Judye S. & Morton A. Harris Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Awarded to students who are HOPE eligible and high school graduates of the Muscogee County School District in Columbus, GA with first priority going to graduates of Columbus High School. Recipients must enroll as full-time students at Columbus State University and must maintain a 3.0 GPA.
  • The M. Troy and Gloria S. Woods Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Awarded to students who are enrolled full-time at CSU and must show evidence of ability to succeed academically. First priority will be given to residents of Stewart County (GA).
  • The Polly C. Miller Endowed Scholarship Fund
    • Eligibility: Please check back later for eligibility requirements, or contact Financial Aid.
  • Walter and Sally Lunsford Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Recipients must be of good character, must demonstrate academic potential and financial need. Preference will be given to single working mothers attending CSU at least half-time.

  • Columbus State University Fifth Year Senior Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Awarded to student athletes who have completed their athletic eligibility and are within one year of obtaining their baccalaureate degree.
  • CSU Athletic Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Awarded to students with demonstrated talent in baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross-country, golf, softball and tennis. Recipients must be enrolled full time.
  • Elwood Moyer Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Students with demonstrated financial need and athletic ability.
    • Awards: Educational expenses up to $1,000 per year.
  • Henson Family Soccer Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Awarded to a CSU women's soccer player with a 2.5 GPA or higher who demonstrates dedication to the classroom and is earning a degree from Columbus State University.
  • Jack B. Key, Sr. Golf Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Awarded to a CSU golfer with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Jonathan Swift Tennis Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Awarded to a CSU tennis player with a 3.0 gpa or higher.
  • Lenora Jordan Garrard Tennis Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Awarded to a CSU tennis player with a a 3.0 GPA.
  • Ruth O. Andrae Scholarship Fund
    • Eligibility: Awarded to a CSU's women's basketball player who demonstrates talent in the area of athletic competition and who is actively involved in the community.
  • The "PUD" Greene Athletic Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Awarded to student athletes who display exceptional talents in the area of athletics.
  • The Alvin "PIG" Davis/Cal Carter Athletic Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Awarded to a person who displays exceptional talent in the area of athletic competition and excel in their academic studies.
  • The George P. Swift Jr. Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Awarded to a CSU golfer who demonstrates dedication in the classroom while earning a degree from Columbus State University.
  • Walden Athletic Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Awarded to a student with outstanding athletic abilities.
  • Wilcox-Lumpkin Foundation Athletic Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Attendance at CSU for one full year with a minimum gpa of 3.0. Must display exceptional talents in the area of athletics.

Hughston Athletic Training Fellowship

  • Eligibility: Graduate students with NATA certification enrolled in the master's degree program in health and physical education, with a gpa of 2.75.

Turner College of Business & Technology Scholarships Application

  • Billy and Olivia Blanchard Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Awarded to qualified students with minimum GPA of 3.0, preference may be given to students enrolled in a business or a computer science program with a cybersecurity emphasis. Within this group, preference may be given to current employees of Columbus Bank and Trust Company and their immediate family members.

  • Howell Hollis Memorial Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Awarded to talented and academically qualified students with minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate financial need as verified by the Office of Financial Aid.
  • Jay & Kelly Alexander Scholarship

    • Eligibility: Offered to select qualified entering full-time freshmen who are becoming Columbus State University (CSU) students (having fewer than 30 semester hours earned or equivalent). Eligible students must have a minimum SAT score of 1200 (critical reading & mathematics) or a minimum ACT score of 27 (composite) and a high school GPA of at least 3.5. Students transferring from another institution must have a transfer GPA of at least 3.0.
