The university’s strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and reflective practice continues to influence my approach as an associate professor of elementary education, inspiring me to prepare future teachers who are both creative and grounded in research-based pedagogy. CSU’s supportive community and commitment to excellence have been central to my growth as an educator and scholar.

Professor, Department of Teacher Education, Leadership & Counseling

Through the education department at CSU, I was given so many opportunities to observe in multiple schools throughout the district and in various grade levels, which gave me great exposure and helped me feel confident and well prepared for my own classroom. The professors would even come out to the sites where we were teaching to watch us in action and offer helpful feedback. Their support really made a difference and helped me grow as a teacher.
