6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., Music Under the Dome

Explore the space center's exhibits and enjoy a reception beginning at 6 p.m.; the 45-minute "Music Under the Dome" planetarium program begins at 7 p.m.

The "Music Under the Dome" concert series is a unique, innovative and captivating collaboration between CSU's Schwob School of Music and the university's Coca-Cola Space Science Center—enjoyed by more than 500 patrons each year. Our world-class Schwob School students and faculty provide a live, integrated soundtrack for the visually immersive, technologically advanced full-dome video experience in the center's Omnisphere Theater planetarium.

Shuttles: Columbus State will provide shuttle service to the Coca-Cola Space Science Center from both USG hotels beginning at 5:30 p.m. Return shuttle service will also be available after the event.

Walking: The venue is a five-minute walk from the Columbus Marriott. Driving or shuttles are recommended for anyone staying at the Hampton Inn.

Personal Vehicles: Anyone wishing to drive their own vehicle may park on the street in front of the center or at the Columbus Convention & Trade Center parking deck next door.

Tuesday, April 14

Breakfast

Breakfast is included in each hotel's amenities. For Columbus Marriott guests, a breakfast buffet is served in Houlihan's Restaurant. For Hampton Inn Columbus Downtown guests, breakfast is served in the hotel lobby.

Columbus Marriott: Breakfast is offered daily beginning at 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Hampton Downtown Columbus: Breakfast is offered daily beginning at 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Welcome Lunch

Drop in for lunch as your schedule allows while you take in art from Columbus and the city's history in the W.C. Bradley Co. Museum. Our appreciation to Regent and retired W.C. Bradley Co. executive Mat Swift for hosting lunch.

Shuttles: Columbus State will provide shuttle service from both USG hotels to W.C. Bradley beginning at 10:45 a.m. Shuttle service from the W.C. Bradley Co. to the board meeting will begin at 11:45 a.m.

Walking: The W.C. Bradley Co. is a five-minute walk from either USG hotel.

Personal Vehicles: Anyone wishing to drive their own vehicle to the W.C. Bradley Co. may park for free on the street or in the City of Columbus parking deck across the street (1028 Front Ave, Columbus, GA 31901).

1 p.m. to 5 p.m.*, USG Board of Regents Meeting

5 p.m., CSU Baseball vs. Auburn University Montgomery

Take in the action from the Cunningham Conference Center patio as you await the university shuttle ride back to your hotel.

Shuttles: Columbus State will provide shuttle service from the Cunningham Conference Center to either USG hotel immediately after the board meeting and through 5:45 p.m.

5 p.m., Return to Your Hotel

Shuttles: Columbus State will provide shuttle service from the Cunningham Conference Center to either USG hotel immediately after the board meeting and through 5:45 p.m.

6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Community Dinner

Enjoy an evening of specially curated cuisine, accompanied by outstanding art and music—all amid Columbus State's premier gallery spaces. Art students will host guests in their downstairs Illges Gallery spaces to discuss their current projects and artwork. Dinner in the upstairs Bo Bartlett Center will feature small-plate stations highlighting culinary sensations prepared by the university's catering team. Schwob School of Music student-musicians will play as you take in the art, enjoy outdoor views of the Chattahoochee River, and visit with local alumni, partners and supporters who contribute to the university's success.

Shuttles: Columbus State will provide shuttle service between both USG hotels and the Corn Center from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Walking: The venue is a five-minute walk from the Marriott and a 10-minute walk from the Hampton Inn.

Personal Vehicles: Anyone wishing to drive their own vehicle may park along the street in front of the Corn Center, in the nearby City of Columbus parking deck, or in the university parking lot at the corner of Dillingham Street and Bay Avenue a block from the venue.

8:30 p.m. to 9:15 p.m., After-Dinner Concert

RiverCenter for the Performing Arts Legacy HallLocation: Columbus State University’s Legacy Hall (via the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts) 900 Broadway, Columbus, GA 31901 (CSU RiverPark Campus)

Guests not quite ready to end the evening can visit Columbus State University’s Legacy Hall, where Schwob School of Music student musicians will continue sharing their talents with an evening serenade and nightcap. Enter from the covered “Saunders Center for Music Studies” walkway.

Shuttles: Columbus State can provide shuttle service between the Corn Center and Legacy Hall from 8 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for those needing transportation. Shuttle service from Legacy Hall to both USG hotels will operate from 9 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Walking: Legacy Hall is a three-block walk from the Corn Center.

Personal Vehicles: Vehicles may remain where they were parked for dinner, as Legacy Hall is a three-block walk from the Corn Center.

Wednesday, April 15

Boxed lunches will be available for all guests and attendees at the conclusion of the board meeting.

1 p.m., Regents Cup Debate Finale

Location: Columbus State University's Cunningham Conference Center, Blanchard Hall, 3100 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907 (CSU Main Campus)

The final round of the USG Regents Cup concludes the annual IPDA-style debate competition that celebrates and promotes the values of free speech, civil discourse and democratic engagement among our system’s students.

Shuttles: Columbus State will provide continuous shuttle service from both USG hotels to the Cunningham Conference Center through 2 p.m.

Personal Vehicles: Anyone wishing to drive their own vehicle may park at the Cunningham Conference Center. A parking pass is not required, but please avoid parking in red-lined spaces.

  • 11:45 p.m.: service begins from the W.C. Bradley Co. to the board meeting at the Cunningham Conference Center.

USG Board of Regents Meeting, 1 p.m.

  • 12:00 p.m.: service begins from the W.C. Bradley Co. to the board meeting at the Cunningham Conference Center.
  • Standby through 5:45 p.m.: shuttles will remain on standby at the Cunningham Conference Center through 5:45 p.m. for anyone wishing to return to either hotel.

Community Dinner, 6 p.m.

  • 5:30 p.m.: service begins from both hotels to the Corn Center
  • Standby through 8:30 p.m.: shuttles will remain on standby at the Corn Center through 8:30 p.m. for anyone wishing to return to either hotel
  • 7:45 p.m.: service begins from the Corn Center to Legacy Hall

  • Standby: shuttles will remain on standby at the Cunningham Conference Center throughout the day for anyone wishing to return to either hotel.

Regents Cup Debate Finale, immediately following the Regents Meeting

  • Standby: shuttles will remain on standby at the Cunningham Conference Center throughout the day for anyone wishing to return to either hotel
