LIBR - Library Science

 
LIBR 1105. Introduction to Library and Information Science (1-0-1) Combining history, concepts and applications, this course will examine a wide variety of print and electronic information formats and libraries, both physical and virtual. A field trip and a research project will be integral parts of this course.

LIBR 3705. Seminar in Library/Information Research (1-0-1) Prerequisite: Junior standing. Examination of authoritative source materials, including but not limited to reference materials, periodical indexes, and electronic resources in a particular discipline or subject area. Discipline, topic or focus will vary with instructor. May be taken twice for credit with different topics.
