Center for Academic Coaching

The mission of the Center for Academic Coaching at Columbus State University is to provide students with high-quality, innovative academic coaching and advising that empower them to make informed decisions regarding their educational, personal, and professional goals. Columbus State University offers a comprehensive academic coaching system staffed by highly qualified Academic Success Coaches who engage with the university’s diverse student population in a positive, productive, and ethical manner, supporting students as they identify, clarify, and achieve their academic and career aspirations.
The Center for Academic Coaching serves as the central campus resource for information about academic programs, student support services, and other campus opportunities. Academic Success Coaches collaborate closely with faculty advisors and departments to provide specialized support for transfer students, undeclared students, military-connected students, student-athletes, dual enrollment students, and those considering a change of major. In addition to serving select populations, the Center for Academic Coaching offers general academic guidance and resources for all CSU students.
