In the spotlight

Afro-Cuban jazz takes centerstage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 26 as Columbus State's Schwob School of Music hosts percussionist Poncho Sanchez and his Latin Big Band, featuring New Orleans jazz trumpet legend Terence Blanchard, in the RiverCenter's Bill Heard Theatre. The concert is also a featured event of the 37th annual International Trumpet Guild conference, which the Schwob school is hosting.   more >>
